I bought about 30 Tuya sensors, power switches and a dehumidifier which all loaded up without fuss into HA. I am looking to run them without connections to China but have already found that the graphing capability has allowed me to tune my heating cycles and dehumidifier. I will be adding a Fingerbot type device or two to automate the central heating next. Tailscale lets me acccess all of this remotely without fuss. I am looking to read my power suppliers smart metre data and add that in. This is almost as much fun as loading up Linux 0.7 from magazine floppy disks and that journey with Unix. The difference is that these days there is lots more information to help you online only a search away. The HA community is helpful and interesting and the whole thing is easier to get your head around than Unix anyway. If you want a home automation appliance to run your home HA Green will sort you out and if you want an interesting hobby to investigate sensor readings and Home Automation projects for the fun of it then HA Green is also for you. A giant leap for personkind and an interesting new science toy for me.
This is my first foray into home automation appliances; I previously used VMs on my PC. I plugged in the network, powered it up and by the time I had made a pot of tea, I could access it over the web
I'm in the middle of upgrading the kitchen and decided to go modern with Ikea smart lights and Aquara water leak sensors. I added a Sonoff Zigbee USB dongle to The Home Assistant box to control them all. Also found and setup my Apple homepod, Apple TV and Sony Bravia TV in the living room. Added them all to the Home Assist app. So easy.
I have to say how easy and intuitive everything was, so powerfull too with automations etc. The mobile app and webpage is very fast and responsive. I can see this being used alot from now on in my quest to bring the house into the 21st century :-)
Shipping was so fast too, recieved my order in a couple of days.
Highly recommened trusted company and support.
